During the regular season, the '96 Packers posted an NFL best 13-3 record. going undefeated at (the frozen tundra) of Lambeau Field. The finished with the number one ranked offense, defense and special teams units. The offense, led by Brett Favre, scored a league leading 456 points. The defense, led by Reggie White, limited opponents to only 210, also the first in the league. White and the defense set the NFL mark this season for fewest touchdowns allowed in a 16-game regular season at 19.
In the post season, the Pack marched through the San Francisco 49ers, Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots to capture the franchises' third Super Bowl title and the twelfth NFL Championship.
